Yes, I am making Little Red's costume, well part of it.

Yesterday, went to the fabric district, and found the most perfect fabric for little red! I bought 2 yards for about 3 dollars per yard. My mom bargained the price down from eight dollars to three, and the fabric is pretty darn good quality, and perfect for red.

Started the skirt a few hours ago, almost done. Just have to finish eating my ice cream then I'll finish it. After that, I have to do the petticoat.

Well, little red is finished! I used the same pattern I did for my Baker's Wife Skirt. Four panels, 10 inches at the top and 22 inches at the bottom, sewed together, and then put on a waistband which I put on a drawstring because the costumes for someone else. It's very cute, if you ask me, lol. No pictures yet.
So, I offered to let them use my Think of Me gown, as it is a stage costume and has had its time and glory. I just need to remake the bodice for the girl (who is smaller than I) who'll be wearing it.

I pretty much have all of the supplies, just have to order the pattern, and then I'm good to go!

Unfortunately, I'm broke (what's new?) and my Dad said no to paying for a pattern that costs more than what he's used too, so I had to go along and purchase Simplicity 4470. I've read reviews and heard that it wasn't too bad, but the only thing is, I'm making this costume for someone else! *Sigh..* I guess I'll have to make due..
Besides that, I started hemming the skirt since Cinderella does quite alot of running and tripping. My secret to getting it done in less than an hour? That's what the stapler is for - :).

Finished! Well, it has been finished - :). I actually finished the night of the show! Again! I hate procrastination!
