I'm not making it yet, either. But I will make a dressing gown, and I can see that'll probably lead to the Hannibal costume...^_^

I'll probably wind up making a Hannibal costume someday.

I have finally been able to see some pictures of the Elissa skirts that were used in Stockholm. Last Friday I went to Stockholm to meet the photographer who took all the Phantom production photos there. Unfortunately he was quite busy that particular day so we didn't have a lot of time, but I got to see small pictures (in the size of a negative, but proper pictures) of Elisabeth Berg and Tua Åberg wearing their skirts. As far as I could tell, the one that Elisabeth wore is probably the one that later became Susanne Elmarks skirt in Copenhagen. The one that Tua wore might be the origin for the Viktoria Krantz skirt. I saw that one so quickly though that I'm not certain about this, but I think that Tua's red base fabric had a gold pattern that looked like the one in Krantz's dress. Tua also had four tabs hangning down the front like Elmark had in her dress. Krantz only had three that you could see from the front. One could have been removed though.

Both skirts looked very pretty. Neither have a bottom pleating and they are quite narrow, which looks really good because it gives a good shape. They might look a bit simple compared to some versions today, but they are gorgeous.

I ordered one picture of Elisabeth in her Elissa dress. I would have liked to have one of Tua too, but the price for one picture was high enough. I haven't gotten that picture yet though, but the photographer promised to email it to me. He had to take the negative to be scanned first.

Looking for pictures on Christine's second private gown. You know the one that hangs on a dummy in her dressing room.
